LUSTRE

Lustre is an absolute POWERHOUSE of a scent. It is the monster of all monsters, the beast of all beasts, and i have NEVER had a fragrance that projects as much as this does with the same longevity. The closest I've come to beast mode being never ending is Summer Oud, and that thing lasts until you wash your clothing. I sprayed Lustre the night before last for the first time in my office, then 3 times outside to clear the sprayer. Initial spray was very chemically, so I attempted to wash it off. I must have gotten some on my desk, or somewhere (somehow) around the front door of my house (I sprayed Lustre in my back yard), because we're over 24 hours later and I can STILL smell this perfume in my living area and office, despite my husband having had the house airing out for a couple of hours earlier. I smelt it the moment I walk through the door.

36 hours seems to be it's lifespan. Now all I smell is sugar, but it's subtle.

I'm testing it out again, and I literally tapped the sprayer onto my wrist, and that is enough. It's turning into a really rich, deep caramel, that smells a little bit burnt, which I think will smell delicious once I figure out how much I actually need to apply so I don't overwhelm a crowd of people. I'm thinking i'll need to decant some into a roller ball, purely so I can micro-manage how much I apply, and where. The sprayer will just not provide enough control.

Honestly i'm deducting a star for it's potency and projection. 1 spray will choke out a whole room full of people, and leave them gasping for air on the floor, but overall, if you want a powerhouse gourmand, this is the one to go for.

You only need one spray of this gourmand fragrance to fully appreciate it. The salt note adds interest to the brown sugar. Apple and tonka heart meld with the vanilla and caramel base notes. Sillage and longevity 12/10 - easily detectable on clothing the next day, and easily diffuses throughout a room. For this reason I will be wearing this delicious fragrance in cooler weather.

I purchased Lustre after receiving the sample from Sweet Symphony Sampler and loved it from first sniff. So cozy and smells like warm cookies. Just like a wearable dessert and very long lasting. Thanks Scented Symphony
