A Ritual in Every Breath
Step into a moment of serene clarity with The Way of Tea, a fragrance that captures the tranquil elegance of the Japanese tea ceremony. Inspired by Maison Margiela's Matcha Meditaion, the meditative calm of freshly whisked matcha of this scent invites you to slow down, breathe deeply, and reconnect with the present.
Opening with a delicate burst of green tea and bergamot, the fragrance unfolds like the first sip of a warm ceremonial brew—earthy, fresh, and quietly uplifting. A heart of jasmine petals and matcha tea whispers peace, while white chocolate and soft woods linger like the grounding silence after a mindful ritual.
The Way of Tea isn’t just a perfume—it’s a pause, a philosophy, a moment of stillness steeped in scent.

I blind bought this and love it! Very comforting. I love a good matcha scent.
Love the slight bitterness you would get from tea. Another comforting scent, works well in this rainy cold weather in Sydney this week.
Green tea magic! This is stunning and I think it’s going to readily become my daily fave. I smell like a delicious cup of green tea in the prettiest way possible. Wow!
I haven’t smelt the original but from what I have read this is extremely similar. I think I was expecting a sweeter or creamier perfume based on the notes but what it smells like on my skin is very earthy which isn’t a scent profile I usually gravitate to.
This is the most tea-ish scent I've found. ILOVE this. I cant believe how well they nailed the matcha. The top notes are bergamot and brewed quality matcha. The citrus and jasmine just round the former out (yay! I was afraid this would be overpowered by those: but certainly not) . The white chocolate just smells like a creamy sweetness lingering in the background. This isn't boba/kiddy. This is mature and heavenly.
